Terms
Terms
Updated 29 September 2026
These terms cover using vladpavel.com and booking a consultation with me, Vlad Pavel, in Vancouver, British Columbia. By using the site or booking a consultation, you agree to them. How I handle personal information is in my privacy policy.
Consultations
- A booking is a request until I confirm it by email.
- A consultation is one hour on Google Meet. It costs $499 in Canadian dollars, plus applicable taxes, and it’s due to book the call: my confirmation email says how to pay, by Interac e-Transfer or card, and the call is booked once it’s paid.
- You can cancel or move it for free up to 24 hours before it starts, with a full refund if you’ve paid. If you cancel later than that, or don’t attend, the fee isn’t refunded.
- If I have to cancel or move it, you can pick a new time or get a full refund.
- If you go ahead with a custom build, the $499 comes off its price.
- If my written findings don’t identify at least 5 hours a week your business is losing, I refund the consultation fee within 5 business days.
What a consultation gives you
My findings, what they cost you, and my plan to fix them with its fixed price, in writing within 3 business days of the consultation, based on what you tell me and my professional judgment. They aren’t a guarantee of results, and they aren’t legal, tax, accounting or financial advice.
I keep what you tell me about your business confidential, and use it only to prepare my findings and, if you go ahead, to build the platform.
Custom builds
The build prices on this site are starting points; what moves a price is how many custom features you need. A build is paid half when it starts and the rest once everything is up and running. The monthly fee covers hosting, support, fixes, security and small changes. It is flat: it doesn’t change with the size of your team, and it never goes up while you use the platform. Every build has its own written agreement setting out what’s included, the price, the timeline and who owns what. If that agreement and these terms disagree, the agreement wins.
The price in your signed plan is fixed: if the build takes more work than planned, I don’t charge more. Changes and new features you ask for after signing are priced separately, before I start them.
The platform is mine. I build it around your business, and you use it while your monthly fee is active. Your data is always yours: you can cancel the monthly fee at any time, and I send you a full export of your data.
Using this site
- The words, design and code of this site are mine. You’re welcome to read and share it, but not to copy it for your own business.
- Don’t misuse the site: no spam, no fake requests, and no attempts to break it or reach parts that aren’t public.
- The site is general information and can change at any time. Links to other sites are there for convenience, and I’m not responsible for them.
Liability
The site is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, my total liability for anything to do with a consultation is limited to the fee you paid for it, and I’m not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits or lost data.
The law that applies
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute goes to the courts of British Columbia.
Changes
I may update these terms. A new version applies from the date at the top, and never changes a consultation I’ve already confirmed.
